I'm in Melbourne now!

Things are fine for now. Accommodation is good, except that i need a fan. Havent started Orientation or Enrolment. Will have an international student briefing tomorrow. We'll get mmore info then.

Nothing much to write now. Will update if got news. =)

Feeling? Sad, loss. 1 year 11 months here, all the memories, all the laughter, all the tears. 

Although I won't be leaving Australia entirely, as I will go to Melbourne next year, the feeling of leaving Brisbane is so strong. I realised, I haven't been to lots of places in Brisbane and Gold Coast! I haven't done lots of things here in the Sunshine State! When will be the next time I come back? And surely, things will be different by then...

Good bye and farewell to all my friends in Brisbane. Sincerely wish you all the best! And if fate brings us together again, we will say hi to each other, and still be friends.

Good bye Brisbane. I will definitely come back here again, although probably not any time in near future.

Happy New Year!!...?

Happy New Year!!

Nothing much.. Woke up 10am, then spent rest of morning having breakfast and surfing internet. Had porridge for lunch as the super hot weather made me and parents no appetite at all. The temperature hitted 34 degrees today, and 36 degree yesterday. It was making people lethargic and easily annoyed.

Continue to do more packing around 4pm, when temperature started to drop a little. I was taking some clothes from upstairs to living room, planning to stuff more clothes into one baggage. And when I was 2 steps away from reaching the bottom of stairs, "POM!!", I fell hard from the stairs. I landed on my right foot, hitting hard on my ankle. I couldn't move for quite a long time, just able to sit there, trying to move my body weight away from the ankle without moving my ankle. Really intense pain! 

When I was able to stand and walk a bit, I went upstairs to my room and got my ankle guard, then put it on my right foot. It still hurts untill now, especially when I walk. 

Sigh.. what a way to start a new year. Hope tha after this incident, this whole year will be less accident.

2008

Last day of 2008.

What a year to be. Full of ups, downs, happy, sad, angry, frustrations, fear, love, beloved, stressed, depressed, and many other good and bad moments. 

All in all, this one has been a memorable one. Learned a lot of things, grown older mentally and physically. 

What's in store for me next year? A new place, new course. A new start? Certainly. It won't be easy, I know. But I pray hard that this time next year, when I look back, I will be happy of what I've done.

Good news week

Yay! 

Results were released on Wednesday 12am. Stayed awake and waited till almost 1am before i managed to see my results. All passed, with my first High Distinction in my years in UQ. Finally felt relieved.

Went to uni on Wednesday itself to get academic transcript, and then to IDP office in city to hand in the transcript. James were not there, so in the end i just passed my document to another lady.

Thursday morning. Received a call from James. He said I need to get a Letter of Completion from uni, to officially state that I have successfully completed my degree. Went to uni again, this time with parents, then to city. Brought parents around city centre, then for lunch at Wah, a Korean restaurant. The restaurant has changed ownership i think. Renovated the whole place, with a whole new crew of staff. Ordered a medium seafood hotpot, sharing among us. It's my parents' first time trying Korean food, luckily they enjoyed the meal.

After lunch, we went to Toowong for some vege and fruits shopping. Spent only about 30 mins there since we bought offpeak bus ticket. While on the way home, James called. He said I've got offer letter from Uni of Melbourne! I was so delighted. My parents too. Greater relieve now. I was so worried that I couldn't get the offer. Been praying hard. Now I'm thinking.. will I get offer from Uni of Sydney too? Pray...

Can't wait for Monday to come. It's my GRADUATION!!
